How Belen was Born
It all started on a night out. Our founder, a passionate dancer, loved dancing with friends and enjoying the freedom she felt while moving on the dance floor—but hated carrying two pairs of shoes: one for the street, and one for the dance floor. The constant juggling of bags and shoes took away from the joy of dancing, and she knew there had to be a better way.
That night, a simple question sparked an idea: “Why isn’t there a dance shoe that’s ready for the street and the floor?”Back home, she sketched her first design—a sleek snap-on sole cover that would protect the shoes outside while keeping them perfect for dancing. From that first sketch, Belen was born.

Each Belen shoe is handcrafted in Mexico using the finest real leather, with top-quality craftsmanship and Shock Guard technology to cushion and support the foot.
